About Us
The Chapel of St. Therese of Lisieux is a Catholic Community that functions outside the jurisdiction of Rome. A part of the Catholic Diocese of One Spirit, which is part of the global Independent Catholic Movement, "Saint T's" is one of a number of Parishes in our region that services God's people from a uniquely dynamic and community centered perspective.
Established in 2010, Saint T's began by renting a Chapel at the Mathewson Street United Methodist Church in Providence. In 2014, our Parish purchased our own Church building at 1500 Main Street in West Warwick, Rhode Island, also a former Methodist Church.
Our mission is to bring the Seven Sacraments to all who seek them, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital, personal, or religious history, perceived ocial status, or any other factor. We work together to provide programs and liturgical celebrations that are of quality, consistent, and relevant. We build relationships with one another built on respect and love. We strive to be Christ to the world by being involved in our local community through our work with youth, the elderly, the poor, the marginalized, and the forgotten. We tend to the well-being of the entire person by offering programs that provide healthy environments to share life's challenges and victories.
As our Church fills more and more with the sound of robust praise to our God, we give thanks to him for the many blessings he has poured out on us since our beginnings. In all that we do, we pray that God's will be done.
All that is missing now is you! Join us on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. either in person or on Zoom to experience a relationship with Jesus Christ like never before!
